The article highlights the groundbreaking technology by Starship Technology. The company is expanding its autonomous robot delivery services across university campuses. The firm has collaborated with Grubhub, which has a food delivery app (IoT World Today, 2023). The report suggests that twenty autonomous robots will be rolled out at East Carolina University and Baylor University (IoT World Today, 2023). The delivery bots will come in handy in enhancing the student experience on campus and making dining much easier. The intelligent robots will also add aesthetic value around the campuses (IoT World Today, 2023). Smarty robots utilize a combination of artificial intelligence, sensors, and machine learning to execute their primary role, delivery.

These robots use a combination of technology to deliver various goods around the campus. Dining is one of the essential aspects of the campus (IoT World Today, 2023). The students and instructors are often heavily engaged in multiple such that they do not have time to go to restaurants and grab something to eat (IoT World Today, 2023). However, this problem seems to have been solved, especially with this autonomous robot delivery service. The expansion of the autonomous root delivery service and the partnership with Grubhub boils down to the advancement in the IoT (IoT World Today, 2023). The fact that intelligent robots release zero emissions proves a combination of technology in place. IoT is also used to ensure that various systems are energy efficient, which goes a long way in ensuring zero emissions.

Question: Considering the potential use of artificial intelligence in the delivery business, how is it likely to disrupt the supply chain in the future?
